Amy Harbert | Staff GRC Operations Analyst | Workiva

Amy has worked in the technology industry for the past 18 years, and 11 of those years were spent learning and growing at Workiva. While at Workiva, she held roles in several areas including Quality Assurance, Support Engineering, Delivery Management, Accounting & Finance System Administration, and currently manages the Third Party Risk Management program within the Information Security team. She enjoys moving into new departments, building strong business relationships, and identifying opportunities for creating new efficiencies.

Amy joined the Third Party Risk Association a little over a year ago, and has really enjoyed meeting all the TPRM practitioner members who are so passionate about protecting their companies from risk. She appreciates how open and honest everyone is about their TPRM journey, and their willingness to share & collaborate to help move the industry forward. She regularly attends TPRA member events, and has become very involved in volunteering to lead the planning of network events for the 2024 in person conference and is helping to create & pilot the first TPRA Local Meetup program for Iowa.

Amy resides in Central Iowa with her husband, son (14) and daughter (10). Her husband and children have competed in triathlons for several years so their summers are spent traveling to races all over the country, and the rest of the year is spent driving the kids to practices for those 3 disciplines (swim, bike, run). Amy enjoys playing tennis & volleyball whenever she can find the time, and also coaches her daughter's club volleyball team. Another favorite family hobby is spending time at their lake cabin where they enjoy boating, jet skiing, and sailing.
