About the Role
The Vice President will have an integral role in leading Credit One Bank’s Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Program at our corporate office in Las Vegas, Nevada. Partnering with business units and Enterprise Risk Management across the company, the candidate will apply their experience to ensure the effective management of third-party risk commensurate with the complexity of each vendor. This individual will work collaboratively across the enterprise to provide insight and execute creative solutions to business, service, and material logistics challenges.
Direct the day-to-day operations for the Department ensuring an efficient and cost-effective TPRM Program, including due diligence policy and procedures to assist in the vendor lifecycle.
Lead and enhance the company’s TPRM program, emphasizing the different areas of risk (strategic, reputational, operational, transaction, credit, compliance, cyber security, and overall) and ongoing monitoring of our highest-risk vendors.
Review, maintain, and help vendor engagement owners update documentation of cyber security policies, financial reports, business resilience plans, and SOC reviews for critical engagements.
Lead collaboration with business unit leaders for routine and alert-based vendor assessments and overall performance against service level requirements.
Ability to challenge vendor risk reviews and performance assessments; provide articulated written and verbal points of view.
Oversee the TPRM program ensuring complete and accurate data is maintained to enable relevant tracking, documentation, and risk reporting.
Support other areas of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team, as needed.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience directly managing a Third-Party Risk Management Program in assessing and monitoring the effectiveness of controls that comply with banking regulations. Credit card industry experience and Certified Third-Party Risk Assessor preferred.
- BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Information Security, MIS, Programming, or a related academic field.
- Must have well-developed organizational and prioritization skills along with the ability to manage multiple and/or shifting priorities, and produce accurate work products, under time constraints.
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills, to identify risks, evaluate alternatives, derive sound conclusions, and formulate constructive arguments t hat are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
- Excellent collaboration skills to develop strong relationships with business, IT leadership, and other key stakeholders.
- Experience in C-level reporting on strategic initiatives.
- Ability to create and manage project and area budgets.
- Must demonstrate company core values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and integrity.
