About the Role
Identify and implement best practices in vendor management across third party relationships
Work with State Street TPRM to continuously monitor vendor risks and oversee enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplished.
Works with SSGA business liaison and Corp TPRM/Procurement to review, prioritize and expedite SSGA procurement engagements
Develop deep knowledge of State Street third party management process and identify corporate center-led vendor onboarding, contracting and engagement process enhancement to increase operational efficiency and reduce SSGA business overhead across the entire vendor cycle
Participate in working groups among Business Units, Corporate Teams and First, Second and Third Line of Defense teams.
Documents and assist with issues and risks as they arise
Interface with and support key stakeholders across the organization; ensures service quality and customer satisfaction
Participate in working groups among Business Stakeholders, Vendor Management Teams, Engagement Managers, ETRM, Compliance, Legal and Technology teams to create synergies
Provide guidance and support to State Streets Procurement and Third Party Risk Management program by responding and adhering to new and existing regulatory guidelines and initiatives and further mature the internal risk management functions
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with Procurement/Third Party Risk Management/ Vendor Risk Assessment and/or project management
- Strong relationship management with demonstrated ability to work across business lines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact and influence peers, managers and senior leaders
- Strong analytical skill set and decision making abilities
- Ability to independently manage projects and problem solve
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong relationship management with demonstrated ability to work across business lines
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Results oriented ownership mindset with the ability to drive results within the Business
