Clarence is the cofounder and CEO at Coverbase, a TPRM company that automates 90% of TPRM with AI, helping TPRM teams spend of their time on risk and strategy instead of checking boxes. Prior to this, he cofounded Unit21, Google-backed company that has raised $100m to help top financial institutions combat fraud and money laundering with AI.
He published the book "Machine Learning and Security" with O'Reilly Media, and has been teaching AI and security at UC Berkeley since 2019. He has shared his ideas on machine learning and security at DEFCON, BLACK HAT, and other conferences across more than 30 cities.
Kao Zi Chong | CTO & Co-Founder | Coverbase
Kao is a cofounder of Coverbase. Before this, he helped grow Stripe's Banking-as-a-Service platform from an alpha product to a billion dollar business powering companies like Shopify, Ramp and Klarna. He previously developed Quora's entity recognition and topic labeling systems which perform large scale machine learning across Quora's corpus of questions and answers.
