About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Multimedia Content Intern to join our team and assist with various aspects of content creation and production. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to develop skills in video editing, social media management, graphic design, and blog support. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital media, creative, and eager to learn.


We are looking for someone creative who can think outside the box and introduce new ideas to promote the growth of our organization. A self-starter looking to grow their skills in a variety of areas, platforms, techniques, and strategies. This internship will provide experience in marketing strategy, graphic design, video editing, copywriting, email marketing, blog and press release writing, leadership skills, professional relationship development, brand promotion and growth, and more. We are willing to adjust internship hours to meet the needs of the applicant and to provide verification of internship hours for college/program credit. Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in editing and creating engaging video content for various platforms, including social media, our website, and other digital channels. This includes trimming footage, adding transitions, incorporating graphics and effects, and ensuring high-quality      output.

  • Help manage our social media channels by creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, monitoring analytics, and staying up-to-date with trends to optimize content performance.

  • Assist in researching, writing, and editing blog posts on topics relevant to our audience. This may involve conducting interviews, reviewing meeting playback, sourcing images, formatting content, and optimizing posts for SEO.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to brainstorm ideas, develop content calendars, and contribute creative input for multimedia projects.

  • Tracking social media and website engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.

  • Communicating effectively with our officers, practitioner members, vendor members, and board members through email and/or virtual meetings.

  • Providing creative insight into furthering brand awareness and membership engagement.

  • Additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, etc.).

  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

  • Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Meta [formerly known as Facebook], Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and social media management tools.

  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with design software (Adobe Creative Suite and Canva preferred).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and able to work collaboratively and independently.

  • Able to multi-task and provide valuable insight.

  • Prior experience or coursework in multimedia content creation is preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.

  • Proficient with Canva.

  • Must have reliable access to the internet and a computer.

Preferences

  • Experience with Wix Website Builder.

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • Experience with Canva.

  • Experience with Microsoft products.

It is a membership-based, professional association for Third Party Risk Management Practitioners & Service Providers. The TPRA is a community of like-minding, third party risk professionals who collectively further the profession through knowledge sharing and networking.
