Daniel Kenney

Daniel Kenney is a purpose driven leader with a growth mindset. Proven track record as an inspirational, creative, value centric leader capable of leading teams to bring order from organizational chaos. Strong technology management and consulting background with senior level global and cross business line experience. Daniel has a diverse background including senior level roles in technology, logistic, and Information Security Risk. He resides in southern Maine and enjoys Yoga, cycling, and spending time with his family.

Results-driven Senior Information Security Officer with a successful history of developing and implementing strong cybersecurity strategies, managing risk and compliance, and leading incident response and threat mitigation efforts. Experienced in building high-performing teams, fostering a cybersecurity-aware culture, and leveraging research and thought leadership for informed decision-making. CISSP-certified and pursuing a Doctor of Computer Science (DCS) degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.

Kholofelo Mothibi

Head of TPRM

Corebridge Financial

Kholofelo Mothibi is a risk leader with 16 years’ experience in auditing, compliance, controls assurance, and third-party risk management in the Technology and Financial sector. Prior to joining Corebridge Financial, Kholofelo worked at Barclays and IBM where she held various positions in IT Security, Compliance, Internal Audit, Procurement, and the Chief Security Office. Kholofelo is from Johannesburg, South Africa and, in 2015 during her tenure at Barclays, she accepted an opportunity to move to the US to support efforts of establishing a centralized TPRM function.

Kholofelo has successfully led implementation of Third-Party Risk Management processes and managed the delivery of several control remediation projects, program implementation which helped to streamlined and standardize governance processes, reporting and quality controls. Participated in TPRM industry working groups to explore collaborative approach for managing 3rd party risk which included a creation of an industry third party risk assessment questionnaire working with industry trade association and utility company to enable organizations to leverage the concept of shared assessments which minimizes time, cost and resources that would be dedicated to annual assessments. Passionate advocate that has fostered a culture of collaboration and promoting innovative problem solving across various teams, which has been critical in all the organizations she has worked for.

Recipient of a Barclays Diversity Award and named Empower 100 Ethnic Minority Future Leaders 2021 for delivering several programs aimed at colleague engagement, supporting recruitment efforts, and raising funds for non-profit organizations.

Morgan Binder

Third Party Risk

Stripe

Morgan is currently part of the Third Party Risk team at Stripe and has spent the duration of her career in the risk and compliance space. Her belief in right-sized foundational governance based on benchmarks and best practices has enabled her to develop nimble enterprise, operational, and third party risk programs for financial firms. Tooling enablement has also been a major part of her experience ranging from initial selection, implementation, and ongoing administration.

Morgan has a M.S. of Enterprise Risk from Boston University and a B.S. of Management from Bentley University. She is based in the greater Boston area.

Paul Kurtz

Director, Third Party Risk Management

MerchantE

Paul Kurtz is the Director of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) at MerchantE, an end-to-end payment platform leader that provides flexible, secure payment processing for in-person and online payment acceptance. With three decades of experience in financial services, Paul’s Third-Party Risk experience dates to 2012 when he was asked to help build the TPRM program at SunTrust Bank, now Truist. Paul has held first and second line of defense TPRM roles with banks and financial service providers serving clients and financial institutions worldwide. Additionally, Paul has experience in card issuing and merchant services in both the private and public sectors with prior responsibilities in both client and vendor relationship management, loss prevention, fraud investigation and program management, including oversight of the State of Georgia’s purchasing card program. Paul holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, and he and his wife live in metro Atlanta and have a son at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
