Gaining c-suite acceptance of emerging risks: regulation is your friend
10:00 AM - 10:50 AM
Navigating emerging supply chain risks is becoming evermore complex, particularly with events become concurrent. The tropics are expanding by 0.5 degrees each year, and new countries are being affected by water shortages, tropical diseases, and poor crop yields as a result. Combine these with rising geopolitical activity, and supply chains are now more fragile than most professionals have known in their lifetime. Achieving c-suite sponsorship to protect organisations against these challenges has always been a problem, but is new operational resilience regulation now helping to provide the golden bullet to corporate buy-in? This presentation will examine the risks that organisations are facing today, and how emerging regulations can provide a model to protecting against those risks.
